§ For the Georgia Community
Action Association, in 20 locations around the State of Georgia, conducted
training sessions for administrators and users of the EasyTrak client
intake and tracking system.
§ Using Excel planned, wrote
and implemented a daily production tracking system for White Cap. The
production manager enters the daily hours, production and scrap figures for
each line and the system calculates individual line efficiency and overall
plant efficiency for the date and month-to-date. A graph is created from the
figures and the graph is automatically extended into a Word document that is
the daily report sent to headquarters. (White Cap is in the container
manufacturing industry and is a subsidiary of VIAG, a 24 billion dollar
German company.)
§ Using Access and Visual
Basic, planned, wrote and implemented a commercial real estate listing
organizer for McGriff & Company. The database keeps up with the current
status of various commercial properties around the country that are for
sale. Through the Reports feature of Access, it creates uniform data sheets
for each property for presentations to potential buyers. The Visual Basic
program uses an ADO connection to search the database and find
properties that meet criteria such as price range, location and/or property
type as requested by the potential buyer. (McGriff & Company is a
commercial real estate firm that specializes in investment grade, commercial
properties located throughout the United States.) Also, did their web site:
http://www.gemcgriff.com.
§ Using FrontPage and PhotoDraw,
did the web site for Williamson Outdoor Advertising (http://www.williamsonoutdoor.com).
